The restoration of surfaces that have been involved in a fire environment is a very specialised area.

Many people do not realise that removing the physical carbon is not sufficient to restore a surface. As part of the combustion process, an acid is produced as a bi-product which severely attacks metal surfaces in particular.

It is critical to chemically neutralise this acidity to ensure the building suffers no long term fire smell and corrosion problems. Rinsing with water alone is not sufficient.

When our team treat your building, we analyse the exact nature of the fire and what was involved in the combustion equation. We then chemically neutralise the entire building based on it's individual requirements.

The Process

Our team solve your fire damage problems with specialised equipment and techniques developed through our Research and Systems Engineering Department.

The best method for removing carbon stains and neutralising surfaces is chemically. Our Surface Restoration Technicians mix a blend of chemicals on site depending on the type of carbon produced by the fire and the underlying substrate.

Once the chemical has softened the stains and drawn it out of the substrate, we rinse it off and neutralise the area with water under pressure.
